Lake Lenexa at Black Hoof Park, 9053 Monticello Road. Stocked fish include channel catfish, black crappie, bluegill, sunfish and largemouth bass.

Boating: We allow non-gas-powered boating at Lake Lenexa. Your boat must be class 1 (26 feet in length) or smaller. The public boat ramp is located next to the Stone Wall Shelter. Hours are:

November through February: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

March, April, September and October: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

May through August: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Fishing: Lake Lenexa is stocked with channel catfish, black crappie, bluegill, sunfish and largemouth bass. You must have a state fishing license if you are between 16 and 74 years old. Hours coincide with park hours: 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
