Bourbon SFL Kansas Fishing Report
Very windy day when it wasn’t supposed to be but figured out depth and cadence and color the largies and spots wanted. And direction, the wind positioned them. tried a few other baits (Ned rig, crankbaits, spinnerbaits) but only the suspending jerkbaits with 1 to 2 second pauses on windswept banks produced well.
Most fish were holding in 3 to 6 ft range. No giants but easily had 30+ fish with a 50/50 split of largies and spots. Was a fun day despite the winds.
