Brown State Lake Kansas Fishing Report
Was a very tough grind with only 5 fish caught between 3 anglers in 5 hrs. Only 1 “keeper” size fish at 3.21 lbs on a bladed jig. 3 caught on bladed jigs and 2 on a wacky rig. Water temp was up about 5 degrees from previous weekend with a warming trend the whole week. Had thought the fall turnover was over but did see some floating “gunk” indicative of turnover and also an algae bloom.
